Back in high school, I loved comfort. I loved comfort so much, I would bring blankets to school. Every. Single. Day. It got to the point where, at the beginning of my senior year, a club I was part of was introducing the leadership. I couldn’t be there to introduce myself, but my friends tried to describe me: “She’s really high-energy. Very nice and bubbly… She’s Asian? Oh! She brings blankets to school!”
To which the juniors went, “Ohhh, Blanket Girl!”
Anyways, I’d like to think I’m a bit of a Blanket Appreciatist. Far from a connoisseur, but I know the amazing joy blankets can bring. So much so, that I sleep with seven blankets and no pillows on my bed!
(For anyone wondering, if you like really soft pillows instead of firm ones, blankets are a great alternative, especially for a cold night!)
Enough about me! Consider checking out this blanket! It’s soft, big enough to wrap yourself up in, and an amazing gift! You can find it at most local Kohl’s stores. But, if you’re not looking for one right now, I one-thousand percent recommend waiting for Black Friday. I remember one year, it was only $8! It has so many cute patterns and prints, it’s warm, and ahhh it just brings so much joy! It was the number one blankets my friends loved to borrow (read: steal) whenever I brought them to school.
It’s unbelievably soft, and I got matching blankets with my friends, who still love using it at their college! I now am the proud owner of five of these blankets, and I can’t wait for the next big sale to buy a new blanket, either for myself or for a friend!
Oh, but one note- be careful when washing! It is machine-washed, but if your washer machine is too strong, it’ll make it less soft. Still the fuzziest blankets I own, but it did lose a little bit of it’s rub-my-face-against-it-all-night-cause-it’s-soft feel.
